![]() 8th graders are allowed to use a scientific calculator that meets state guidelines. 6th and 7th graders may use a basic four function calculator as long as it does not have a button with "+/-" on it. In regards to calculators, only 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are allowed to use calculators on the state tests for elementary/middle school students. You CAN use money in your Learning Fund to purchase a calculator IF you have available funds.ģrd-8th Grade Students-We do not have a testing date yet, but as soon as we do, I will be contacting you with all necessary information. The one suggested by Epic Math coaches is this one. Make sure you have transportation and an ACT approved calculator. If you are a Junior, clear your calendar for that day NOW. These tests are MANDATORY and required by the state of Oklahoma. For Epic Charter School students in 11th grade, your testing date will be April 3rd and you will be required to be at the testing site no later than 7:45 AM. These tests will be administered at a designated testing center on a certain day and time. ![]() ![]() The only high school students that will be testing are Juniors. The State of Oklahoma has announced that they will be testing all 3rd through 8th graders for elementary/middle school. If you would prefer I walk you through it, let me know and I will schedule a time to go over it with you. Let me know if you need help getting into Parent Portal. To re-enroll, you only need to log in to your Parent Portal and it will be there as soon as you log in. It only takes 10 minutes and gives you peace of mind. You are not obligated to attend next year, but pre-enrolling allows you to secure your spot if you do decide to attend. If you enroll now, but decide later that you do not want to do Epic next year, that is FINE. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, if you enroll BEFORE February 28th, you will get $50 added to your Learning Fund.They will be locked out of their curriculum and if they are not done with their class, they will receive an Incomplete. Students that DO NOT pre-enroll for next year CAN NOT work past May 25th. ![]() If you want to re-enroll and have a different teacher next year, that is perfectly fine too! But I would still enroll NOW, so that you get all the perks of early enrollment.
