We didn't do go-carts but did do Pirates Coves miniture golf which was a lot of. We stayed at a 2 bedroom delux which was nice b/c it came with a full kitchen which enabled us to eat breakfast and lunch in our hotel and saved some $$$ even though the room was a little more $$$. Even our 6 year old (who just turned 6) was not scared of any of the rides and wanted to do them all over and over. One day was cold so we spent it at the indoor parks. I have two girls 6 and 9 and it was perfect. We just left our stay at the Wilderness ( Glacier Canyon Lodge part of the Wilderness) and loved it. However, the tickets were good for any of the rides. We didn't do the day pass only the tickets for go carting. There were twists and turns, going underground and down hills. The kids (4 and 8) had to ride with an adult because of their height. olympus and did the go carting and that was a new experience. We went go-carting in october at Adare and it was decent. The website would give you more information about the activities. I'm sure they should have their kid activities going on also. The wilderness also has a dry play area that I'm sure you all would love. Our kids all agreed that the wave pool and indoor/outdoor hot tubs were the best part of the waterpark. The food wasn't anything special but it was decent. We also took advantage of the kids eat free promotion a couple of times. The kids had plenty to do and never once complained about being bored. Long walks aside (and they can be long), we had a good time. There were 3 adults and 4 children (5 months, 4, 7, and 12). We stayed at the wilderness in october of 06. Both are nice properties but I can only comment on the wilderness.
